I’ll admit it—I’m completely obsessed with finding good clothes for my toddler boys. And while this post is not at all DIY related—finding good clothes for our twins feels like it is in a way. Shopping stores (even thrift stores and Facebook BST groups), finding cool combinations, uncovering great styles for less… it does start to feel a lot like my DIY life. Anyways, I’m into it. Like, really into it. As if I needed another hobby, ha!
As far as their style goes, I pretty much buy for the kid version of what I think Aaron might like/wear himself. A little punk, graphic tees and lots of black, tan and white. I figure when they’re older and have a say in what they wear, they can get all the colorful and character gear they want. But until then, this mom is having some fun.
So here we go. Here are 10 outfits my boys are wearing this fall/winter season. I’ve included links to each item below. (There are no affiliate links in this post… FYI!) There’s a broad range of prices here too, from Garanimals at Walmart to boutique and international brands like Beau Hudson. I’m an equal opportunity shopper. 🙂
What are some of your “hidden” go-to’s for your kids’ clothes? The number of Instagram and Etsy shops alone are staggering! And while my kids are wearing pretty neat stuff during the day and on the weekends, we also love a good trip to Once Upon a Child to stock up on playclothes and daycare back-ups. It’s all about the thrill of the hunt for me! Don’t even ask me how many Facebook BST groups I am in! Yikes!
If you’re local to the Indianapolis area, please go check out Roman & Leo in Fishers! An entire store dedicated to boy fashion. Dreams do come true! I also really like The Spotted Goose here in Cincinnati and of course, Milk+Bots and Half Pint Shop.
Everything listed above is also on my “Teller and Nixon’s Closet” Pinterest board, along with some other things!
