I just wanted to pop in before we completely dive into Christmas festivities to wish you all a Merry Christmas, a Happy Hanukkah or whatever you celebrate! One of the gifts I receive daily is you—as cheesy as that sounds, it’s true! Some people cannot/do not understand how I fit all of this blog work and house projects into a very full life of kids and work, but I do, mainly because this blog feeds my soul in a way that little else can. And a lot of that has to do with you—you are amazing.
I hope you spend the next few days full of cookies and joy and love. I hope to do the same, although let’s be real here, we all know the holiday season is utter chaos! How about hoping for some peace amidst all of our chaos? That sounds lovely. 🙂
Anyways, Aaron and I are going on a little babymoon trip to Scotland the day after Christmas. A friend is getting married there, Aaron’s in the wedding, so we made a trip out of it. I’m frantic over here at the idea of leaving my boys for a few days (you should see the “info sheet” I created for my parents… lol), but I know they will be in good hands.
I’ll be sharing snaps and pictures from our trip along the way. I’m @emilykmay1 on Snapchat and @gohausgo on Instagram, so follow along if you’d like! Seven months pregnant in the Scottish hills of Edinburgh should be interesting!
Much love to all of you!
p/s: We used Paper Culture for our holiday cards this year. Each order comes with the planting of a tree, which we dedicated to our boys. You know, for climbing. 🙂
